South Straddie
South Stradbroke is an Australian island in the state of Queensland, south of Brisbane and forms the northern end of Gold Coast. The 21 km by 2.5 km sized island is the smaller one of the two Stradbroke Islands lies very close to the mainland and is famous for it’s clean a-frame beach breaks.
Gold Coast City Council asked halfnine to design a range of materials to promote the destination as an eco-focused, family-oriented tourism destination that will be a point of difference to other destinations around the city.
The draft vison document, posters, fact sheets and website explains how South Stradbroke is undergoing a transformation to ensure it can be sustainably enjoyed by the present community and future generations.
